Hey — I’m Riishi. I used to live in the world of solving derivatives and thermodynamics problems. Now, I spend most of my time designing products that make a real-world impact.
My path into product design wasn’t linear — it unfolded like most of my life has: through curiosity, movement, and a love for the unknown. I’ve always chased the unfamiliar, whether that meant boarding a last-minute flight or diving deep into complex problems that don’t come with roadmaps. While studying abroad in Vietnam, I collected more than passport stamps — I gathered stories, perspectives, and a deeper understanding of how culture, constraint, and creativity shape the way we design for people.
Before all this, I ran a sneaker reselling business — curating drops, tracking trends, optimizing inventory — and unknowingly honing the same skills I use in product design today: pattern recognition, market empathy, and storytelling. Whether I’m mapping a customer journey or creating a frictionless checkout flow, I bring the same energy I once used to turn hype into hustle.
Now, I design with a mindset shaped by cities, subcultures, and storyboards. I’m always looking for the sweet spot between design that feels good and works even better — all while staying curious about what’s next.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me exploring my hometown of Toronto, living at the gym, or playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball — basically anything that gets me moving.
I love meeting new people — every conversation adds another lens to how I see the world.
That’s me. Say hi, or don’t. (But like… do.)
Ciao for now 👟✌️
